July 23, 2005 - not my birthday present, but we happened to stop by site to take a look at what was going on. not much was happening though, as you can see in the background.
July 30, 2005 - lynn and porta were in town and they wanted to see where the house was going to be so we stopped by again. to my surprise, they started digging. this will be the site of our future basement (minus the flood waters =P)
August 8, 2005 - the foundation(or maybe its just the basement walls) are there. i think the black coating around the outside is some sort of sealant that will prevent water from leaking through. it supposedly keeps a lot of moisture outside of our house. you can see our neighbor's house is almost done!
September 22, 2005 - we suspect the builders took a hiatus from building our house...a month and a half later and only this?! both our neighbors' houses are well on their way to being complete and we barely have 4 walls. =P
September 25, 2005 - about time! on the left hand side is our garage and on the right hand side you can see the shape of a bay window. If you look through the rectangular window, you can see stairs too!
and that's all i have for now....can't wait till its done!!! =)
