…a penny from my thoughts…
Do you ever wonder what its like to be in someone else’s shoes? I think no matter how hard we try to sympathize with someone and what they’re going through (whether good or bad), you really can’t fully understand the extent of their emotions…unless, of course, you’ve been through the same thing yourself. You don’t know about internal struggles they face with each situation. You don’t know how each decision they make will affect other things/people around them. You don’t know the extreme joy or excruciating pain they experience. You know there’s joy or pain, but until you go through a similar experience yourself, you don’t fully grasp the extent of emotions they’re feeling. No matter how good of a grasp you think you have on someone’s situation, it’s difficult to see the big picture when all you have are pieces of it. Its even harder to understand things when you think there’s only one big continuous picture, but in the other person’s reality, it takes many pieces to complete that big picture.
